Built in 1814, The Gathering House was originally a tavern and hotel. Today it’s home to one of the town’s most cherished collections of primitive home furnishings, as well as lip balms, jewelry, scarves, handbags, agateware, bedding, candles, Tervis Tumbler, and so much more! Our quiltmakers are selected from local communities for their individual artistic character and the heirloom quality they stitch into every quilt.
